Musickal Meditations - Channeling The Tower
After a longer than expected hiatus, we’re back with our 16th meditation, this one designed to capture the essence and energy of The Tower. You might be asking yourself, why would anyone want to purposely step into this landscape? Well, we hope to clarify that below - so keep reading!
As with all meditations, you may opt to simply enjoy the music on its own, or work with some of the suggestions provided to perform a fuller ritual. We do hope you enjoy the sounds! We will be updating the YouTube page regularly as we add more tracks as well as storing all links on a separate page of this site, so they are easy to find! Keep reading to learn more about connecting with The Tower!
Meditation Package - The Tower in C Natural
Background: The purpose of these meditations is to allow you space to connect with the 22 Major Arcana, which are, in many ways, separated aspects of ourselves. Each element of this project has been carefully considered, from the note selection to the length of the track to the written piece which accompanies it. The intention is to supply the user of the track with the musical essence of the Major Arcana in question to help them get in touch with their own inner archetype of that nature. We envision that one may use this as part of a regular meditative practice, to open up a card reading session, before or during ritual, or as a way to simply connect more with their deck.
Description for The Tower:
The Tower in all its destruction can feel like a scary archetype to opt to tap into. But also consider that sometimes, things need to fall. The essence of this energy is one of liberation from stuckness - knowing so thoroughly that something is not right for us that we're willing to tear it all down. Consider also how a flash of lightning can, in a moment, illuminate something that was completely invisible beforehand. The power of this key lies in its ability to shock us by quickly altering our perception, bringing something to our attention, or otherwise deconstructing a once held vision. If we can see this sudden clarity through, The Tower will help topple false ideas, ignorance, fear and worn out patterns/systems. With newfound understanding, fresh ideas and structures can flourish. Overhauls like this are both cleansing and necessary, even if they initially feel terrifying and disruptive. Where stagnation flourishes, nature will take its course. Sometimes it's better to get ahead of that by tackling change in a conscious way - aid in the take down and the inevitable rebuild.
Before listening to the meditation music, you may opt to create a ritual-like space using some of the suggestions below. Of course, these are just ideas - feel free to adapt to your liking!

Reflect on the following passage below, designed to further set the stage before you begin.
Behold the flaming Tower
Which standeth over thee,
& know thus
That it is of thine
Own construction,
Forged over time by
Thy Thoughts,
Thy Words, &
Thy Deeds —
The Threefold Pattern
By which worlds areCreated & Destroyed;
w/ my Flash of Revelation,
Thy delusion shall be swept away
& the Truth of thy Being unveiled,
For thou art not the structure,
But rather its Architect —
& build anew thou must;
The Twin Pillars
Are thy workmen —
Be thou Merciful & Just,
& upon my sure Foundation
Shalt thou raise them
From the Dust.
