78 Connections: A Blog for Exploring Cards in Combination

Welcome to 78 Connections! The purpose of these posts is to explore deep, underlying connections between the cards. We go into mythology, astrology, kabbalah, symbolism, numerology and more. Doing this exercise helps us to really see the cards - to illuminate aspects that may not be apparent on first glance. It is also to demonstrate that nothing in tarot is arbitrary - everything is connected and has meaning (even if that meaning was created by us and wasn’t intended in the original design). These are our impressions and they come from years of working with the cards, but they are far from the only or final word! Please be empowered, as always, to find your own links and meanings.
