Musickal Meditations - Channeling The Hierophant

We are delighted to share our newest Musickal Meditation, designed in the essence of The Hierophant!

As with all meditations, you may opt to simply enjoy the music on its own, or work with some of the suggestions provided to perform a fuller ritual. We do hope you enjoy the sounds! Meditation Package - The Hierophant in C Sharp

Background: The purpose of these meditations is to allow you space to connect with the 22 Major Arcana, which are, in many ways, separated aspects of ourselves. Each element of this project has been carefully considered, from the note selection to the length of the track to the written piece which accompanies it. The intention is to supply the user of the track with the musical essence of the Major Arcana in question to help them get in touch with their own inner archetype of that nature. We envision that one may use this as part of a regular meditative practice, to open up a card reading session, before or during ritual, or as a way to simply connect more with their deck.

Description for The Hierophant: We often project the idea of the teacher out into the world. Whether that be an actual person, a book of reference, a catalog of courses, or nature herself. And we think until certain information has been bestowed upon us by some other, that we are without it. In this way, we forget about the knower within - the aspect of ourselves that has every key required, should we only give ourselves permission to use them. In this way, there is never anything occult in this world truly. Revelations are unveiled to ourselves, by ourselves, when we approach our inner teacher in earnest. This archetype aims to assist us by reclaiming power over our ability to drive our own process of discovery. But understand that we can only get so much from words on a page. When our Hierophant shows up, they do so in silence because most of what will be conveyed defies description. In this way, The Hierophant can shift us from knowing to KNOWING, and therein all “secrets” lie.

Before listening to the meditation music, you may opt to create a ritual-like space using some of the suggestions below. Of course, these are just ideas - feel free to adapt to your liking!
